Monitoring activities allow us to gather information about a population of sea turtles, including changes over time, their health, behavior, and much more. It involves capturing specimens to collect a series of parameters, assigning a name to each turtle, and applying a unique identification tag. All the information gathered contributes to a database that is later analyzed by scientists to generate knowledge for making informed decisions regarding their conservation.
